Christine Currie is a photographer, global citizen, blogger and sailor.
She is currently involved with the on going development of ArtspaceSC.com, a start-up concept for local artists to work, teach and showcase talents within the analog and digital media space. She hopes the gallery-esque project will foster a socially responsible example of local artisan experience and promote the uniqueness of our creative community. She likes to envision this project as a 21st century salon.
Her past community leadership experience includes:  The Board of Directors of the Art and History Museums, Los Gatos, An appointed political seat on the Community Services Commission for the Town of Los Gatos and a member of Leadership Los Gatos class of 2008. An active literacy volunteer with local Gault Elementary School, The Los Gatos School District and The San Francisco School District.
Her life B.C (before children) was major market radio creative and sports marketing. A graduate of the University of Michigan, as well as The California Culinary Academy San Francisco and Greystone in Napa. She is a localvore and oenophile that adores Santa Cruz Mt varietals.
She and her husband Rob can't imagine a better place to raise seaworthy crew, sons Collin and R.C. ages 8 & 10.
